Hair today, gone tomorrow!

A message from our lovely friend Jenny…

“Hi my name is Jenny. I have been married to Michael for 26 years and we have two great kids, Daniel 20 and Abigail 17. I am part of the New Life Church in Dorking and I work part time for Aviva as a client administrator.

To celebrate my sixtieth year I want to do something different, something I have never done before, something from which others will benefit. I would like to raise £1000 for Be Me project.

I have chosen this charity because it is local to my home town and it helps secondary school age girls who have self-esteem issues. Having experienced these sort of issues myself the work that the Be Me team are doing is very close to my heart.

My intention is to have my head shaved. To have an All American Buzz Cut! But not all at once. Half of my head will be shaved at my place of work.  Then four days later I will have the other half shaved off at church on the Sunday!

You can donate on my Just Giving page and I will also be running a raffle.

To keep things really interesting I am suggesting that if you would like to donate this charity, you can chose to “save me” from the big haircut by posting a comment to that effect. Or you can comment “go for it”. The most votes will decide my fate! Either way, Be Me project will benefit.

I know who I am, I am happy being me, and I can even be me with very, very little hair!!”
